Ohio State Route 282 is a tiny north-south route whose purpose is to serve Nelson Ledges State Park. The route is in northeastern Portage County, with the northern end barely reaching into southeastern Geauga County. The northern end is at US Route 422, just southeast of Parkman. Ohio Route 282 basically goes due south from there. Once it has served the state park, traveling a total of three miles, it ends at Ohio Route 303.
My photo for Ohio Route 282 signage displays this junction assembly along US Route 422. Westbound travelers on US Route 422 encounter this junction marker and are alerted of the upcoming junction, that serves as the northern terminus of Ohio Route 282. This photo was taken during my tour all around northeastern Ohio in October 2022. Back to Ohio Routes 200-299. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
